3D Secure service offered by ZiraatBank BH and supported by Mastercard, is a service that enables you to make secure payments on the Internet using your Bankkart.
3D Secure prevents the misuse of your payment card in online stores and web shops that support this service. Secure online shopping ensures the protection of your card's sensitive data with a one-time password (OTP) that will be sent to your mobile device via SMS when shopping online.
How does 3D Secure work?
• When making a card payment in online stores and web shops, a 3D Secure Pop-up window will appear on the screen of your mobile device, computer, laptop or tablet. (example Pop-up window shown below)
• One-time password (OTP) related to the transaction you want to perform will be delivered via SMS to your mobile phone number registered with the bank.
• Enter the one-time password correctly and accurately in the Pop-up window and confirm the payment.
It's important that you make sure your mobile phone number registered with the bank is correct so you can successfully perform online transactions using the 3D secure service.
