1. Basic Account -FBIH
A basic account in KM is an account for performing payment transactions with basic services, intended for all individuals who have legal residence in the FBiH and do not have an account opened for performing payment transactions in KM (in accordance with the provisions of Article 8, paragraphs 3 and 6 of the Law on UPP), if an individual has one or more bank accounts, in that case he cannot have a basic account. A basic account in KM is opened for the purpose of regular inflows of funds based on salaries, pensions, as well as other benefits based on permanent employment, and additional payments that may be remittances in the country and cash deposits into the account.
A basic account is an account used for performing payment transactions in KM and includes:
- services for opening, maintaining and closing that account;
- services that enable the deposit of cash into a payment account;
- services that enable the withdrawal of cash from the account at counters or at ATMs and other similar devices;
- services for transferring funds from one account to another, namely:
- by direct debit,
- by using a payment card, including online payments,
- by authorizations, including standing orders, at terminals and counters and via the internet banking system.
2. Basic Account - RS
Individual residing in the Republika Srpska in accordance with the law governing the residence of citizens, if he does not have another payment account, has the right to request from the Bank the opening and use of an account with basic services (hereinafter referred to as: basic payment account).
A basic payment account is a payment account used for executing payment transactions in convertible marks and includes:
- services for opening, maintaining and closing that payment account,
- services that enable the payment of funds from an individual to his/her payment account and receiving payments from third parties,
- services that enable the withdrawal of cash from the payment account at the Bank's counters or ATMs,
- services for executing payment transactions, i.e. the transfer of funds, as follows:
- by debit transfer,
- by using a payment card, including payment via the Internet, in cases where such payments can be made using a payment card issued by the Bank to an individual,
- by credit transfer, including a standing order, on appropriate devices, at the Bank's counters and using the Internet (e.g. Internet and mobile banking).
